June Lake is nestled deep in the heart of the Eastern Sierra.

The June Lake Loop is a unique and "not to be missed" adventure for all outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled deep in the heart of the Sierra, it offers spectacular vistas — peaks, waterfalls, flowers, sparkling streams and lakes, and abundant stands of quaking aspens. It is often referred to as, "The Switzerland of the Sierra", and with good cause.

The Loop consists of four lakes — June, Gull, Silver and Grant, each offering opportunities for great fishing, boating, sailboarding and swimming in summer. Mountain bikers and hikers will find plenty of spectacular trails to experience. The Loop is free from the hustle and bustle of nearby Mammoth, and is a perfect all-season spot for a family vacation.

In the winter, you will find that June Lake is the perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and alpine excitement, offering a variety of snow activities, including skiing, boarding, and snowmobiling.
